Chelsea prospect Lucas Piazon believes that Vitesse Arnhem is the right place for him to continue his individual development this season.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is highly rated at Stamford Bridge, but has been temporarily sent out to the Dutch outfit due to the competition for places in Jose Mourinho's squad.
Piazon spent last year with La Liga club Malaga, and is hoping that another loan spell in Europe will offer him further first-team experience and give him the opportunity to impress his parent club.
"Vitesse is the right club for me to join," he told the club's official television channel. "I hope to play a lot here. The Dutch Eredivisie is a league where I can show what I am capable of.
"The last half year in Spain was a good experience, another type of football than I was used to in England. Therefore, I learned a lot."
Piazon has made two Chelsea starts in the League Cup, and has also featured once as a substitute in the Premier League.
Fellow Chelsea youngsters Patrick van Aanholt, Gael Kakuta and Cristian Cuevas will also spent this campaign on loan with Vitesse.
