Report: Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea

Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro reportedly leaves the club, following Jose Mourinho's criticism of his side's medical staff after their 2-2 draw with Swansea City.

Chelsea club doctor Eva Carneiro has reportedly left the club, following high-profile criticism by manager Jose Mourinho after his side's 2-2 draw with Swansea City last month.

After the game, Mourinho criticised Carneiro for treating Belgian winger Eden Hazard during added time, after his side had already been reduced to 10 men following Thibaut Courtois's second-half red card.

Mourinho subsequently banned Carneiro from sitting on the Chelsea bench during games, although she was reportedly recalled to the training ground last week.

Several media outlets are reporting that Carneiro has now left the club, while The Guardian suggests that the Italian doctor is preparing to take legal action.

Carneiro had been a member of the club's medical staff since 2009.
