Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo hits back at Jose Mourinho's criticism

Ronaldo blasts Mourinho criticism

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at his former coach Jose Mourinho, who publicly questioned his attitude.

Mourinho, who left the Bernabeu for Chelsea this summer, had earlier claimed that the former Ballon d'Or winner could not handle criticism and stated this week that he is not the "real" Ronaldo.

"There are certain things in life that are not even worth commenting on," Goal.com quotes Ronaldo as saying.

"I will not say anything else about it for obvious reasons. I have always respected all my coaches and learned from them.

"I have gotten used to people saying bad things about me. As we say in Portugal: 'I do not spit on the plate I'm eating from.' That's all I want to say about it."

Ronaldo has also refused to rule out a return to Manchester United by claiming that his future is yet to be "resolved".
