Liverpool striker Luis Suarez sends "hugs" to Chelsea captain John Terry after the centre-back was stretchered off during yesterday's 1-1 draw following a collision with the Uruguayan.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has sent his best wishes to Chelsea captain John Terry after he was stretchered off at Stamford Bridge yesterday.

The former England international is due to have an MRI scan on his knee after he collided with the Uruguayan frontman in the first half of the Blues' 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

After snatching a point in West London, Suarez tweeted: "Hugs to Terry, I hope it's nothing serious."

Reports have claimed that Terry left Chelsea's home ground on crutches and with a brace on his right knee.
