Fabio Capello is believed to have named John Terry in England's provisional squad to face Spain and Sweden despite the racism row.

England boss Fabio Capello is believed to have named John Terry in his provisional squad for the international friendlies against Spain and Sweden.

The Italian boss has had a dilemma as to whether to include the 30-year-old amid allegations that he racially abused Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.

After reported talks with the Football Association, it is understood that Capello has included the centre-back in the Three Lions squad, according to Sky Sports News.

This latest controversy surrounding the Blues skipper has sparked suggestions that he may lose the England captaincy for the second time in his career.

Terry is currently under investigation by the FA as well as the Metropolitan Police.
