Chelsea captain John Terry happy to have "incredible" N'Golo Kante in squad

Chelsea captain John Terry says that "incredible" N'Golo Kante will be "great" for the club.

Chelsea captain John Terry has backed the club's acquisition of midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The France international, who played all but one Premier League game in Leicester City's historic title-winning campaign last season, joined the Blues for £32m last month.

The midfielder made his debut by coming off the substitutes' bench in the second half of Chelsea's pre-season 3-1 win over AC Milan in New Jersey on Wednesday.

After the match, Terry told Goal.com: "It is a great signing for us and he was incredible last year.

"It is great to have him part of our squad and all the new boys we have got are looking good so I am delighted and looking forward to getting back to now. He was very good tonight, he has looked very good in training but he has not been back too long."

Chelsea will begin their Premier League season with a home clash against West Ham United on August 15.
