Chelsea captain John Terry has said that the current title-winning campaign has been the best of his career.
The 34-year-old defender skippered the Blues to their fourth Premier League crown this term and the first since Jose Mourinho returned to the club in 2013.
Terry has won praise for the standard of his performances in the Chelsea back four this campaign.
When asked if this season is his best at Chelsea, Terry told Sky Sports News: "I think it probably is. It's nice as well because as you get older you get written off, people say once you get to a certain age you are past it.
"Not only myself, but you look at Lamps [Frank Lampard], Stevie [Gerrard], Rio [Ferdinand], players like that. What they've achieved and how they've carried on at the top all their careers, it takes doing."
Chelsea will lift the Premier League trophy after they face Sunderland at Stamford Bridge today.
