Fernando Torres has claimed that he will find his form at Chelsea this season despite an uncertain start.
The Spanish striker has one goal and 18 appearances to his name since his £50m move from Liverpool in January.
The 27-year-old has continued his dip in form in Chelsea’s pre-season tour by failing to find the net in three match friendlies. However, the former Liverpool star is confident that he will be prolific this season.
"I'm 27. Don't worry, I don't forget to score goals. I will score," Sky Sports quotes Torres as saying.
"It's going to be a big season. My form is okay; it's time to be fit and ready. We're trying to get into the best form. We have got big expectations and I can see the winning mentality we have [at Chelsea].
"We are starting a new season with a new manager with new people around the team and it's time to be fit and ready."
Meanwhile, Blues captain John Terry has backed his teammate to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
