Andre Villas-Boas hails "important" win

Andre Villas-Boas praises his Chelsea side after their 3-0 win over Bolton on Saturday.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has hailed the 'importance' of his side's 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from David Luiz, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard secured the win, and moved the Blues into fourth spot in the Premier League table.

"Yes it would be true we have been chasing for quite some time, it was important for the team to get three points, it puts us back on track in the league and our fight for Champions League qualification," Villas-Boas told Sky Sports News.

"We created lots of chances ... we had to continue to be patient to find the goal that unlocked the Bolton defence."

Chelsea continue their league programme away to West Bromwich Albion next Saturday.
