Willian vows to help Liverpool's Roberto Firmino adapt to Premier League

Willian to help Roberto Firmino fit in

Chelsea winger Willian has insisted that he will help Liverpool's new signing Roberto Firmino adapt to the physicality of the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has agreed to join the Reds from Hoffenheim on a five-year deal for a fee which is expected to rise to £29m.

Willian, who is currently representing Brazil alongside Firmino at the Copa America, believes that the attacking midfielder will fit in as he will receive help from the Chelsea player, as well as new club teammate and compatriot Philippe Coutinho.

"He's a great player, he knows how to score, he's strong," The Express quotes Willian as saying. "Obviously, British football is played differently. It's very quick and aggressive and it is tough to adapt there, but he has everything in order to make that change.

"As far as I'm concerned and other players like Philippe Coutinho, who will also play with him, we will try to help him with his transition to Liverpool."

Firmino, who will finalise the deal when he undergoes a medical following the conclusion of the Copa America, will reportedly wear the number 11 shirt.
