Sports Mole looks at how Ipswich Town could line up when they welcome Chelsea to Portman Road in the Premier League on Monday night.

Kalvin Phillips is set to drop out of the Ipswich Town side when they welcome Chelsea to Portman Road in the Premier League on Monday.

Captain Sam Morsy will return from suspension after missing the 1-0 loss at Arsenal on Friday following five cautions, and should come in for the Manchester City loanee in the engine room, alongside the in-form Jens Cajuste.

Manager Kieran McKenna may also tweak his system again, after opting to go with a five-at-the-back formation for just the second time this season at the Emirates.

The other occasion was away to Man City, so it is expected that McKenna will revert back to the more familiar 4-2-3-1 they have been using for much of the campaign, meaning Ben Johnson could drop out for a more attacking option, such as Conor Chaplin or Wes Burns.

One other player is doubtful, and that is Massimo Luongo, who missed the trip to London with illness and he will be touch and go about whether he will be ready for this one.

The one player who is certain to feature is striker Liam Delap, who has been responsible for scoring 38% of the newly-promoted side's goals this season, even if they have dried up slightly of late in the midst of an underwhelming run of form that has seen Ipswich lose five of their last six.

Chiedozie Ogbene is out for the season with an Achilles tear, while George Hirst is also not expected to return for around another month after sustaining a knee injury recently.

Rather surprisingly, Cameron Burgess was left out of the squad entirely on Friday, with it not made clear whether it was for tactical reasons or due to an injury, meaning he should come back into the side if it was the former.

The only other injury concern regards defender Janoi Donacien, who has been missing since the September international break, with no further updates given on him since.

Ipswich Town possible starting lineup:
Muric; O'Shea, Greaves, Burgess, Davis; Morsy, Cajuste; Chaplin, Hutchinson, Szmodics; Delap
