Chelsea suspend three fans following Paris 'racism' incident

Chelsea suspend three supporters from attending Stamford Bridge following Tuesday's incident in Paris where a black man was allegedly racially abused.

Chelsea have announced that three supporters have been suspended from attending Stamford Bridge following Tuesday evening's incident when a black man was allegedly racially abused.

The individuals, who have not yet been officially named, could face further action as the club's investigation into the unsavoury scenes at a Paris Metro station continues.

The Premier League club are working alongside the Metropolitan and Paris police after video footage emerged of a man getting shoved off a train by a group of Chelsea fans, who then began chanting, "we're racist, we're racist and we like it that way".

A statement on the club's official website read: "If it is deemed there is sufficient evidence of their involvement in the incident, the club will issue banning orders for life.

"We have received substantial information to date following our witness appeal and we are grateful to the many Chelsea supporters who have provided information so far."

Souleymane S, who claims to be the man who was targeted by the fans, believes that the perpetrators deserve to be "locked up" in prison.
