Fernando Torres returns for the Blues, who also recall Gary Cahill and Eden Hazard.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard, Victor Moses and Demba Ba are those to make way following Sunday's 1-0 win at Manchester United.

Tottenham have also made three changes to their side as Lewis Holtby, Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor replace Clint Dempsey, Moussa Dembele
