Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has no fresh injury concerns to work around for Saturday's Premier League battle with table-toppers Manchester City at the Etihad.

The Blues came through the EFL Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur unscathed but remain without Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy, Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah for the time being.

With Mendy away at the Africa Cup of Nations and also COVID-19 positive, the forgotten man Kepa Arrizabalaga will act as the last line of defence once more.

Thiago Silva's return from COVID-19 infection is timely with Andreas Christensen now positive, so Malang Sarr could earn another start alongside Antonio Rudiger at the back.

Compatriots Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso may feature on the flanks on Saturday, but Tuchel has a major call to make in the middle of the park.

N'Golo Kante is also back from his own coronavirus woes, but Mateo Kovacic's man-of-the-match showing against Liverpool could lead Tuchel to give the Croatian the nod alongside Jorginho.

Mason Mount and Romelu Lukaku will expect to hold their places in the final third, although Timo Werner could find his spot under threat from Kai Havertz.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; Silva, Rudiger, Sarr; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Mount, Havertz; Lukaku
