Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Chelsea ahead of Monday night's London derby with West Ham United.

Chelsea will climb back into the top four of the Premier League table if they beat West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Neither Tottenham Hotspur nor Manchester United are in action this weekend, meaning that victory for Chelsea would lift them up to at least fourth, and potentially as high as third depending on Arsenal's result against Everton on Sunday.

Only a win may do for the fans as they continue to put pressure on manager Maurizio Sarri, although the Blues did return to form with a comfortable 3-0 win over FA Cup semi-finalists Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Chelsea ahead of Monday's London derby.

CHELSEA'S INJURY LIST

Marcos Alonso

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 8 (vs. West Ham)

Sarri suggested that Marcos Alonso would only need "three or four days" of rest to recover from a slight hamstring strain, so the Spaniard should be in contention for West Ham's visit.

Pedro

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: April 8 (vs. West Ham)

Pedro missed out entirely as Callum Hudson-Odoi shone in his absence against Brighton, but the attacker's muscle issue is not thought to be serious and he could be back pushing for a starting role in time for Monday.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Instrumental in Chelsea's last two games, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was withdrawn towards the latter stages of the win over Brighton with a hamstring issue. Sarri suggested after the game that it is only cramp, though, so the England international should be fine to face West Ham.
