AC Milan have rejected Chelsea's £30m offer for defender Alessio Romagnoli, according to reports.
Speculation surfaced earlier today that the Blues had turned their attention to the 21-year-old having seen a number of approaches for Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly rejected.
However, Milan are unwilling to sell the Italy Under-21 international having only signed him from Roma for £21m last summer.
Sky Sport Italia now reports that the Serie A side have knocked back Chelsea's pursuit and have told the club that Romagnoli is not for sale.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Torino defender Nikola Maksimovic.
