Barcelona's president Sandro Rossell has rubbished speculation linking the Catalan club with a move for Didier Drogba.
Reports emerged in Spain last night that Drogba, who has agreed a move to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, was travelling to north-eastern Spain for talks with Barca.
However, Rossell has joined Drogba's camp in issuing statements dismissing the rumours.
He said: "I don't know anything of Drogba. If he's here he's come on holiday or for something personal. It's nothing to do with Barcelona."
Drogba, 34, ended his last season of an eight-year stint with Chelsea by scoring the winning penalty in their Champions League success over Bayern Munich.
