Chelsea are thought to have accepted a bid of £11.5m from Leicester City for striker Loic Remy.
The 29-year-old moved to the London side from Queens Park Rangers in 2014 but has found game time hard to come by, featuring 10 times for the Blues in the league this season, nine of them as a substitute.
According to talkSPORT reporter Ben Jacobs, the Foxes attempted to take Remy on a loan deal until the end of the season with an option to buy, but were told by Chelsea that the only offer on the table was a permanent move.
League leaders Leicester have been in the market for another striker as backup to prolific duo Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez following the loan exit of Andrej Kramaric to Hoffenheim.
Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Manchester City had also been credited with an interest in Remy.
