Chelsea are reportedly closing in on the capture of Genk winger Kevin De Bruyne.
The former Premier League champions have been linked to the 20-year-old for some time and it is thought that a £8.5m deal is on the verge of completion.
The Blues have planned to tie down the player and loan him back to the Belgian side until the end of the season, according to The Mirror.
It is understood that Genk's general manager Dirk Degraen was in London yesterday to finalise the deal after the club decided to lower their original £12m valuation of the winger.
