Chelsea are reportedly confident about securing a summer deal for Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell.

Chelsea are reportedly confident about being able to secure the signature of Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell during the next transfer window.

Having failed to add to his first-team squad in January, Frank Lampard is known to be keen on making several signings later in 2020.

With either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri expected to be sold, bringing in a new left-back is a top priority for the club legend.

According to Goal, the Blues regard themselves as favourites to push through a deal for England international Chilwell.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of Leicester's key men during their progress up the Premier League table under Brendan Rodgers.

However, with over four years left on his contract, Chilwell is likely to be valued in the region of £80m.
