Chelsea could reportedly move for Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech in this summer's transfer window.
The Blues were expected to improve their squad in January having had their transfer suspension overturned on appeal, but it was ultimately a quiet month for the London giants.
Frank Lampard's side are being tipped to spend heavily during this summer's transfer window, though, and according to the Evening Standard, Ziyech is one of a number of players under consideration.
The 26-year-old played a key role in Ajax winning a league and cup double last season in addition to reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, scoring 21 times and providing 24 assists in all competitions.
The Morocco international has again been in impressive form this term, scoring eight goals and setting up 21 more in 29 outings for his Dutch club.
The newspaper report claims that Ziyech is being considered as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho due to the amount of clubs interested in signing the England international.
Lampard will allegedly have as much as £150m to spend on new players ahead of next season.
