Premier League duo Chelsea and Everton are interested in signing newly-promoted Brentford striker Ivan Toney, according to Peterborough United's director of football Barry Fry.
Toney joined the Bees from the Posh last summer and had a stellar campaign in front of goal, finding the net 33 times in the Championship.
The 25-year-old is now being monitored by several clubs in the English top-flight, with Fry claiming the current Champions League holders, along with the Toffees, are two of the teams interested.
"I still think people like Everton and even Chelsea (want him). I know Chelsea are looking at the top range of centre-forwards but I know they've watched him and like him and if they don't get A, B, and C, who knows?" Fry told This is Futbol.
"Then I expect Ivan to go for £40m, £45m, £50m, but now he's got them in the Premier League, only the top clubs could afford him."
Brentford are keen to keep hold of their star striker, though any offer received in the region of £50m may tempt them to sell, and any potential deal agreed would also see Peterborough received a significant sum, as they included a sell-on clause when they sold him on last summer.
