Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Sevilla's Sergio Rico as the Blues attempt to solve their goalkeeping problem ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign.
Rob Green has joined Willy Caballero and Thibaut Courtois in the goalkeeping ranks at Stamford Bridge this summer, but the latter is actively trying to force a move to Real Madrid.
Indeed, it is understood that Courtois has skipped Chelsea training for the second day in a row, with a switch to the Spanish capital widely expected to take place before Thursday's transfer deadline.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea have identified Sevilla's Rico, who has won two Europa League titles during his time at the Estadio Ramon, as a possible replacement.
The 24-year-old came through the youth system at Sevilla, and has made 169 appearances for the Spanish outfit in all competitions over the last four years.
Chelsea will open their 2018-19 Premier League campaign with a trip to Huddersfield Town this weekend.
