Chelsea have reportedly decided to try to loan out Charly Musonda during the January transfer window.
Musonda has recently hit the headlines for seemingly being critical of his lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge, having been handed just one start and two substitute appearances.
According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea had hoped to send Musonda out on loan before the start of the season, only for the player to be keen on competing for a place in the first team.
Chelsea have a light squad in comparison to their main rivals, but the West Londoners have allegedly already decided to give the 20-year-old the chance to gain experience elsewhere.
Musonda was able to earn first-team football with Real Betis last season, scoring one goal in 24 outings for the Spanish outfit.
