Chelsea defensive duo Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have reportedly both been offered new deals by the club.
The two centre-backs have become integral parts of Thomas Tuchel's setup since the German took charge, but their futures at Stamford Bridge are far from secure at present.
Both Christensen and Rudiger are due to become free agents at the end of this season, and the former has been linked with Sevilla amid Chelsea's interest in Jules Kounde, while Rudiger is also reported to be considering his future.
However, The Telegraph claims that Chelsea view the duo as vital parts of the club's future and have tabled new contract offers to the defenders in the hope of retaining their services.
Chelsea are still rumoured to be pressing ahead with a move for Kounde, but the most likely candidate to depart Stamford Bridge is Kurt Zouma, who is supposedly set to sign for West Ham United in a £26m deal.
Rudiger and Christensen have both played the full 90 minutes in Chelsea's Premier League wins over Crystal Palace and Arsenal, and the Blues' next test is a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Saturday.
