Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly been offered to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
Giroud has been linked with several clubs in recent times after failing to nail down a regular starting spot in Frank Lampard's side.
According to Defensa Central, Giroud is keen to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of this season and his agent is working behind the scenes to find his client a new club, with Real Madrid one club he has enquired to.
Real Madrid are unlikely to pursue a deal for the 34-year-old as they are not looking to sign a striker this month, even after allowing Luka Jovic to return to Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the window.
Los Blancos would prefer to wait until the summer and target a younger talent such as Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe or Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.
Giroud, who joined the Blues from rivals Arsenal in January 2018, has scored nine times in 17 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
