Chelsea target Wolfsburg youngster?

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to try to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Brandt.

Brandt's contract at the Bundesliga side expires at the end of the season, and he has indicated that he won't be signing a new deal.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are interested in Brandt, but according to The Metro, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wants to try to sign the 17-year-old in January.

The Germany Under-19 international has yet to play a senior match for Wolfsburg.
