Chelsea have reportedly cooled their interest in Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao.
The Champions League winners were thought to be one of the leading contenders to snatch the Colombian's signature in January but it has been reported that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is not willing to pay over the odds for the forward.
It is understood that Falcao has a buy-out clause worth £45m and while Chelsea have expressed interest in the player, it is thought that the Premier League outfit will not meet Atletico's asking price of £42m, according to The Express.
Reports have claimed that the West London club are turning their attentions to Marseille striker Loic Remy.
