Chelsea to loan Romelu Lukaku to Atletico Madrid?

Chelsea reportedly agree to allow striker Romelu Lukaku to join Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan deal.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal with Chelsea to loan striker Romelu Lukaku for the forthcoming season.

Lukaku has spent the last two campaigns on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Everton respectively, and it now appears that the Belgian international will spend a third year away from Stamford Bridge.

According to Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, Chelsea are prepared to allow Lukaku to spend a year in Spain with manager Jose Mourinho seemingly unconvinced that the 21-year-old deserves a place in his first-team squad.

Lukaku would replace forward Diego Costa, who is expected to complete a move in the opposite direction after a price was agreed for signature.
