Chelsea hope to cement Cesc Fabregas deal tomorrow?

Chelsea are reportedly hopeful of completing a deal to sign Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas by tomorrow.

Chelsea are reportedly confident that they will secure a deal for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas by tomorrow.

The West London outfit are said to be closing in on the capture of the Spain international for £27m.

The midfielder's former club Arsenal reportedly decided against matching an offer for their ex-captain, while Manchester United are believed to have ended their pursuit of Fabregas.

Reports have claimed that the Red Devils, who will be guided by new manager Louis van Gaal next season, were put off by Fabregas's wage demands.

According to The Express, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is hopeful of wrapping up the transfer, which includes a five-year deal for the midfielder, by the end of the week.

Reports have also claimed that Fabregas will double his current £100,000 weekly wages at Stamford Bridge.
