Chelsea have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £80m to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
After successfully halving their transfer ban, Chelsea are now able to bring in new players during the January window.
While the Blues could potentially strengthen in several areas of the pitch, manager Frank Lampard has suggested that he would like to bring in a like-for-like replacement for Eden Hazard, who left for Real Madrid in the summer.
However, while Zaha is one of the names on their radar, the Evening Standard claims that Palace are not prepared to accept any offer below their £80m valuation.
That stance was set out before the beginning of this campaign, with Arsenal eventually signing Nicolas Pepe rather than opting to pay the Ivory Coast international's price tag.
Zaha has contributed just two goals and one assist from 16 Premier League appearances this season.
