Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk may allegedly become the subject of interest from another Premier League club ahead of the January transfer window.

Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk may reportedly be handed an opportunity to join another Premier League club in January.

The Ukraine international is close to completing two years at Stamford Bridge after his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk that could eventually cost the Blues a fee of £89m.

Although Mudryk has not come close to justify that price-tag, he has contributed nine goals and nine assists from his 72 appearances in all competitions.

However, the 23-year-old has been provided with just 146 minutes in the Premier League this season, with that game time spread across seven outings.

On a more positive note, Mudryk has made an impact in the Conference League, chipping in with two goals and four assists from his five appearances in that competition.

Enzo Maresca will hope that the wide player can transfer that form into England's top flight over a busy winter schedule, yet it appears that an offer may arrive to move across the capital.

Stamford Bridge to Selhurst Park?

According to Football Transfers, Crystal Palace are contemplating whether to explore the possibility of a loan deal.

The report suggests that the Eagles are interested in acquiring the services of a game-changing player in the mould of club legend Wilfried Zaha.

Palace saw another star man in Michael Olise move to Bayern Munich in the summer, the consequence being Palace scoring just eight goals in 11 league fixtures and sitting in 18th position in the Premier League table.

Oliver Glasner and the club's hierarchy seemingly want to offer Mudryk a chance to kick-start his career at Selhurst Park, particularly if his game time continues to be restricted over the next six weeks.

These two clubs are no strangers to conducting loan business with defender Trevoh Chalobah currently impressing during his temporary stint at Palace.

Would Glasner have to adapt style?

Glaser is set in his ways of using a back three and that is generally a part of Palace's system that is starting to work again to positive effect.

However, in the final third, Daichi Kamada has been used in a more advanced role than is perhaps ideal, whereas Eddie Nketiah would no doubt prefer to play down the centre of the attack rather than being deployed deeper.

Furthermore, Glasner has rarely used out-and-out wingers in the final third, but signing a player like Mudryk would give him that option. Additionally, Mudryk would likely become a first-choice pick.

With Mudryk having seven starts and six substitute outings in all competitions thus far, though, Maresca may deem him too valuable from a squad perspective to allow him to move elsewhere.
