Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has allegedly failed to make an appearance at the club's training ground on Monday.
Courtois is pushing for a move to Real Madrid this summer, but the stopper had been due to commence his pre-season schedule at the start of this week after representing Belgium at the World Cup.
However, according to The Telegraph, the 26-year-old did not show at Cobham as Chelsea continue to reject the advances of the European champions
Courtois has less than a year remaining on his contract and has indicated that he wants to move to Madrid to be closer to his family, while the player's agent has suggested that Chelsea have recently received an offer.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri is keen to hold talks with Courtois and although it has been claimed that a conversation has taken place, it does not appear to have been face to face.
Chelsea are against selling Courtois if they cannot find a replacement, but the Premier League outfit are allegedly targeting a move for Stoke City's Jack Butland.
