Fulham are reportedly set to make a fresh bid to sign Chelsea forward Armando Broja on loan before the end of the January transfer window.

Fulham are reportedly set to make a fresh bid to sign Chelsea forward Armando Broja on loan.

The 22-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular starting place since returning from a serious knee injury in September.

Broja, an Albania international, has started just eight of his 19 appearances this term, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Although Broja is under contract until the summer of 2028, Chelsea are willing to entertain a possible departure due to the club's ongoing concerns over Profit and Sustainability rules.

While Chelsea are seemingly prepared to sell their academy product, they are believed to be open to the prospect of a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Fulham have emerged as the frontrunners for Broja's signature, with Marco Silva keen to add to his centre-forward options, which currently includes Raul Jimenez, Carlos Vinicius and Rodrigo Muniz.

According to TEAMtalk, Fulham are set to make a fresh bid for Broja, having already seen an offer turned down by Chelsea.

Fulham's loan proposal included a £25m obligation to buy, but it ultimately fell well below Chelsea's valuation of £35m.

Despite seeing their offer knocked back, the Cottagers are expected to resume talks with their West London neighbours.

Fulham are believed to be preparing a fresh bid as they try to reach an agreement with Chelsea before the transfer window shuts on February 1.

While Fulham are currently leading the race to sign Broja, they could still face competition from other Premier League clubs.

Aston Villa, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are among those that have previously been linked with the Albanian, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be interested in a loan move.

Broja has made a total of 38 senior appearances for Chelsea, registering three goals and three assists.
