Eden Hazard has claimed that he would be the "happiest man in the world" if Belgium teammate Christian Benteke joined him at Chelsea.
Benteke has been linked with a summer move away from Aston Villa, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool among a handful of sides thought to be interested in his services.
The striker scored 15 goals in 34 appearances for the Villans during the 2014-15 campaign.
"If Christian signs with us, I would be the happiest man in the world," Hazard is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I have a great relationship with him and would like nothing better than to play with him.
"Christian is 25. He is at an age where he has to make a good career choice. Not that Aston Villa is a small club, but he has already played many great games and can now play in the Champions League."
Hazard and Benteke return to international action with Belgium on Sunday against France in a friendly at the Stade de France.
