Inter Milan have reportedly made it clear to Chelsea that they want a cash-only deal for Romelu Lukaku, as negotiations between the two clubs continue.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Blues are closing in on the signing of the Belgium international, who previously represented the London club between 2011 and 2014.
However, the two teams are yet to reach an agreement, with Chelsea believed to have had an £85m offer, which also included Marcos Alonso, turned down at the start of last week.
According to Sky Sports News, Thomas Tuchel's side want to drive the price down by including one or two players as makeweights, but Inter want a cash-only deal due to their financial problems.
The report claims that the Italian champions are still keen to keep hold of Lukaku but would find it difficult to turn down an offer in the region of €120m (£102m).
The 28-year-old has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter since joining the Serie A giants from Manchester United in August 2019.
