Inter Milan will reportedly attempt to sign Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso this summer.
The Italian giants are expected to move for a new left-sided wing-back at the end of the campaign and had allegedly identified both Alonso and Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri as potential signings.
However, according to Tuttosport, Antonio Conte's side have now dropped their interest in Emerson to focus on Alonso, whose father recently hinted that the Spaniard is looking for a return to Serie A.
The 29-year-old was a regular during his first three seasons at Stamford Bridge but has struggled for regular action during the 2019-20 campaign, starting just eight Premier League matches.
Inter signed Ashley Young from Manchester United in January, but head coach Conte is reportedly still looking for players to fit into his 3-5-2 formation.
I Nerazzurri are currently third in Serie A, eight points off leaders Juventus, who have played two games more.
