Former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou will undergo a medical prior to agreeing a four-year contract with Ligue 1 side Lille.
It was reported that the Ivorian international arrived in France on Friday wity his advisors for his medical.
It appears that Lille have won the race, believed to be between 12 clubs, to sign the midfielder.
The 26-year-old will also negotiate a contract and a signing-on bonus with Lille. He is expected to officially sign the deal once the medical is passed.
Kalou spent six years at Stamford Bridge, scoring 60 times in 244 competitive appearances for the London club.
Kalou would be Lille's fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Marvin Martin, Steeve Elana and Viktor Klonaridis at the club.
