Everton striker Romelu Lukaku rules out return to Chelsea

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku rules out a possible return to Chelsea by claiming that "the page is turned on both sides".

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he will not consider returning to Chelsea in the future.

The 22-year-old seems to have opened the door to a possible Everton exit after admitting at the weekend that he wants to play for a Champions League club.

Lukaku joined Everton from Chelsea in 2014 following a three-year stint, which included loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and the Merseyside club.

When asked if he could envisage a return to Chelsea, Lukaku told Derniere Heure: "No, absolutely not. The page is turned on both sides."

Lukaku has hinted, though, that he would consider joining either Manchester United or Bayern Munich. He said: "When I was little, [they were] two teams that impressed me by their offensive force.

"We'll see what will happen. Anyway, it is always nice to be linked with such clubs. this is proof that they watch me. The rest is the business of my manager."

The striker has scored 25 goals this season.
