Monaco have no 'concrete' interest in Chelsea's Frank Lampard

Monaco quiet on Lampard interest

Monaco have attempted to distance themselves from rumours linking Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard to the Ligue 2 side.

The 34-year-old has been reported to be considering his future at Stamford Bridge, with speculation also linking the England international with a switch to the MLS.

It had been claimed that Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri, who worked with Lampard during his time at the Blues, is interested in signing him but a club official told L'Equipe: "There is nothing concrete."

Lampard has been a Chelsea player for 11 years.
