Neymar says that he intends to stay at Santos next season.

Brazil striker Neymar has said that he intends to stay with current club Santos, dampening expectations of a high-profile transfer to Spain or England.

"I'm staying at Santos," Neymar said on arrival at Sao Paulo airport after returning from the Copa America, where Brazil suffered a shock defeat on penalties to Paraguay in the quarter-finals on Sunday.

The 19-year-old, who played an instrumental role in Santos's victory last season in the Copa Libertadores - the South American equivalent of Europe's Champions League - has been linked with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Neymar's current deal with Santos runs until 2015.
