Brazilian striker Neymar has revealed that he has no regrets over turning down a move to Premier League side Chelsea.
The 19-year-old, who recently agreed a new contract with Santos, was linked with a transfer to both the Blues and Real Madrid during the summer.
A switch never materialised but the centre-forward has revealed that he intends to play for a European club in the future.
"I have no regrets, I decided to stay in my country and I tell myself that I was right," he told France Football. "If I was transfered to Chelsea, I would not have won the Copa Libertadores this year, a title that Santos was waiting to win for 50 years.
"For the moment I want to stay here in Santos. I thank both big clubs, giants of football, for their interest about me, but I made a life choice, and that is to stay at Santos for now.
"I dream to play in Europe, that is sure, but I do not know when I will do it."
Neymar has scored eight goals for the Brazilian national team.
