Alexandre Pato: Chelsea move is "a dream come true"

Alexandre Pato says that his imminent move to Chelsea is "a dream come true".

Alexandre Pato has described his imminent move to Chelsea as "a dream come true".

The Brazilian touched down in London on Wednesday to complete his transfer, thought to be an initial six-month loan, from Corinthians.

Shortly after arriving at the airport, Pato, who has not played since November 28, told ESPN Brasil: "I'm here to make a dream come true. Chelsea is my new home. I really want to play for them.

"I'm very happy and very nervous. I want to meet my new teammates so I can adapt as quickly as possible. Yes, it's been a while without playing, but nothing that my new colleagues can't help me with."

It is believed that there is a clause in the deal allowing Chelsea to sign Pato permanently at the end of the season.
