Alvaro Pereira's agent has revealed that he will hold "important" talks with Porto amid speculation over a possible move to Chelsea.
Chelsea have been tracking the Uruguayan full-back since last season, when former boss Andre Villas-Boas was keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Villas-Boas's successor Roberto Di Matteo has continued the club's interest, causing his representative, Alejandro Savich, to hold talks with current club Porto.
"We are due to hold an important meeting with Porto, but I do not want to speculate on what the outcome will be," Savich told Maisfutebol.
Pereira, 26, has made 39 appearances for Uruguay, helping them to success in the 2011 Copa America.
