Ramires plays down Barcelona, Real Madrid rumours

Ramires says that he is focused on Chelsea and ignoring rumours in the press linking him with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has said that he is unaware of reported interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Spanish champions have been linked with a move for the Brazilian in January, while their La Liga rivals are also believed to have expressed their interest.

"Many people are asking about the supposed interest from other clubs in my football but I don't know anything, apart from what was reported in press," the 26-year-old told Lancenet.

"I am under contract with Chelsea and my attention resides solely in keeping on doing the good job done at the club."

Ramires arrived at Stamford Bridge from Benfica in 2010.
