Chelsea are reportedly preparing a big-money move for Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva.
The Premier League side are believed to be in the market for a new central defender and have been strongly linked with a move for Everton's England international John Stones.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, however, the Blues could be about to switch their attention to Silva, who is the wrong side of 30, but has a wealth of European and international experience.
The 31-year-old has won league titles in both Italy and France, helping PSG claim the French title in each of the last three seasons.
Silva has been an ever-present for his French club this season, making 27 appearances and scoring one goal, but Chelsea are said to be confident of enticing the defender to the Premier League.
