Report: Chelsea to cut short Radamel Falcao loan spell

A report claims that Jose Mourinho has lost patience with misfiring striker Radamel Falcao and is now planning to send him back to AS Monaco.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to cut ties with flop striker Radamel Falcao and send him back to parent club AS Monaco.

The Colombia international has scored just once for the Blues since joining on loan during the summer.

Jose Mourinho is said to have splashed out around £2m to land the once-prolific forward on a temporary deal, despite his failure during a similar spell at Manchester United last season.

According to The Sun, Falcao will now return to Ligue 1 outfit Monaco should an agreement be struck between the two clubs.

Monaco are thought to be unwilling to pay the 29-year-old's bloated wages, which currently stands at £125,000 per week - half of his Old Trafford salary.
