Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly made Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain his main target this summer.
Mourinho worked with Higuain for three seasons at Real Madrid, before both men left the Spanish capital two years ago.
Chelsea are in need of a striker to replace Didier Drogba, and the Blues have also been linked with Monaco number nine Radamel Falcao.
However, The Sun reports that Higuain is the preferred target and the club are keen to bid £30m.
The 27-year-old netted 29 times last season.
