Report: AC Milan fail in Cesc Fabregas bid

AC Milan reportedly fail with a swoop for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who will stay at Stamford Bridge this summer.

AC Milan have reportedly failed in their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Spain international has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under new boss Antonio Conte and a number of clubs have been linked with a swoop over the last week.

According to Sky Sports News, Milan launched a bid for the 29-year-old on Tuesday night, but Chelsea and indeed Fabregas rejected the offer as the midfielder plans to fight for his place under Conte.

On Sunday, Fabregas insisted that he was "fully committed" to Chelsea despite being left out of the starting XI for all three of the capital club's Premier League fixtures at the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
