Report: Alvaro Morata emerges as Paris Saint-Germain target

A report claims that Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is on Paris Saint-Germain's radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly looking into the prospect of signing Alvaro Morata from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The Spain international has had a mixed debut campaign at Stamford Bridge, scoring 12 goals in all competitions but seeing his recent playing time hampered by injuries.

According to Paris United, the Ligue 1 moneybags have not been put off by Morata's dip in form as they are keen to bring him to the Parc des Princes later this year.

PSG already have Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe up top, but sporting director Antero Henrique is said to have identified the 25-year-old as another option to provide competition in 2018-19 and beyond.

Morata last featured for Chelsea in their FA Cup third-round replay win over Norwich City on January 17 when being shown two yellow cards in quick succession.
